Preparing for Retirement
The third age is a time for positive changes and new opportunities. However, in reality some people find it difficult to adjust to their new lifestyle of more free time and less money. It comes as a surprise to many that they miss the daily structure and mental challenge that work gave them, not to mention the social aspect of working with others.
Participants in management roles at all levels considering retirement in the next one to five years.
This course is designed to help participants prepare for the adjustment of the third age and develop the skills to plan confidently for a well-balanced and rewarding future. In addition to gaining an insight into the key elements of retirement including opportunities for including opportunities for voluntary and paid work, career transition and exploring new leisure activities and interests.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to;

- Manage wellbeing in retirement: taking an active and interesting retirement
- Take advantage of opportunities for retirement and market their skills
